I thought this was going to be a complete edition of his works. This is just an online index, and has none of his written words. This is not worth the time to check it out.
This book is absolutely worthless. The poems are not reproduced as poetry, but as prose. There a misprints on every page. It is, basically, gibberish.
Not the same book cover as pictured, but is an original old copy of book with an ornate hardcover that I do like. Thankfully!
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong in the download, but this appears to be just a LIST of Whittier's works not the works themselves.
Whittier's poetry is beautiful. It's sometimes used in hymns; that's how I first heard it. Meaningful and lovely.
Just a list...very disappointed.
There are no poems in the book! So deceptive of to advertise this book as the complete poems of Whittier! There should be a law against this!
